Corliss McGinty
founded
Soft Solutions in 1993 as an HR Consulting firm focusing
on technology. Through the years, she has focused the
firm’s work in the “people” part of human
resources: strategic planning in employment and retention,
leadership development, process improvement and alignment
of human capital to corporate initiatives. As a coach,
advisor, challenger, cheerleader and colleague, Corliss
provides an objective resource to both individuals and
corporate teams.

self-development and life purpose alignment have been
priorities in Corliss's life as employee, volunteer
and professional leader.
Corliss is a Certified Life Coach and Certified Career Practitioner and
has served on both the Society for Human Resource
Management (SHRM) local and state boards in varying
roles from chapter President to State Conference Chair
and is currently on the National Item Writing Board
for HRCI for SPHR certification exams. She also served
on the national board for The Employment Management
Association (EMA) and local boards of The American
Society of Training and Development (ASTD). Her alma
mater is East Carolina University and she is life-certified
as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR),
International Human Resources Management, Outplacement
and 360° Feedback.
